Great service. Kit arrived swiftly, well packaged and in good shape. As a UK customer, I ordered the 220v EU version and simply changed the supplied plug cable with a UK C13 equivalent and it works perfectly. The kit provided is comprehensive, including enough items to get you going. I have used the heat gun for fixing heat-shrink cable – ideally suited. It wasn’t clear in the product description that one neat feature of the heat gun is a sensor to detect which angle it is held at. When held above the vertical (or when in its holster) a blower operates to cool the element down. Once the gun is pointed back at the workpiece, the heater element switches back on again. I’m sure this will save the element over the months ahead and is a good design. The iron feels good in the hand and comes with a number of replacement nib ends for different types of work. The main unit is easy to operate and robust, with precise control over temperature of iron and blower.
